I particularly like this image. The type has images/ patterns, some form of imagery going on, but because it is cut off/obscured it makes you want to jump into the letters and explore the imagery.

Image from Adubzeedo
Was featured in the daily inspiration section of their site. This image is broken up, hiding parts of the face and almost distorting the face proportions. Its simple in the way it uses a little colour scheme, geometric shapes and a grid/white space. Its by Ross McEwan
So after linking to this image I looked at more of his work.
